What most everyone referred to as Cocoa Beach or Coco Beach was actually a Navy installation
named Col Co Beach. Col Co is the correct name, just sounds like cocoa. Later, was renamed Eagle Beach. Approximately
10 km east northeast of Hue and near Tan My Navy fuel tank farm and POL pipeline facility adjacent to and including
Eagle Beach, Eagle Beach R&R center built later. In Thua Thien Province, I Corps.
