Active Duty Roster


Below is a list of currently deployed soldiers of children of B-2/501st members (AND one of our OWN working there in a security capacity). If you are B-2/501 and have a family member serving in Iraq that you wish to have listed here, please contact the webmaster.


      

Remember how much you looked forward to a LETTER or PACKAGE when you were in Nam? Well, now you have the opportunity to lend support to a brother by writing to one of his own who is currently serving our country in the Iraqi war. Below is a list of items that our troops enjoy receiving:



AA & AAA batteries, dark colored sunglasses/goggles, sewing kits, dark colored socks, bandanas, underwear,

cat flea collars (for sand mites/fleas), hand sanitizing solution, nasal spray, eyedrops, alcohol wipe packets, foot AND mouth blister care, wet wipes, toilet paper, small packs kleenex, ziploc baggies, NON AEROSOL bug repellant,

pens, pencils, small pencil sharpeners, stationary/envelopes, blank greeting cards, packs of post cards, disposable cameras, paddle ball, playing cards, puzzles, books, magazines, crossword puzzle books, travel size games, phone calling cards (AT&T works best),

UNSCENTED toiletries-soap/shower gel, lotion, body powder, shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, plastic toothbrush and soap holders, sunscreen/block (highest number possible), lip balm w/sunscreen, vaseline, foot powder, q-tips, bag balm, nail clippers, small mirrors,

individually wrapped sunflower seeds, peanuts, pretzels, cookies, gum and candy (NO CHOCOLATE), powdered cold/hot drink mixes, tea bags, small cereal boxes/hot cereal packets, beef jerky, instant noodles/ramen






Michael Edwards, son of Mitchell "Mike" (Doc) Edwards, has been in Mosul, Iraq since July 2008.
He is charge of the Motor Pool and this is his second tour. First was in Bagdad in 03.

He is a Senior Airman in the USAF in Balad, Iraq. John is a radar air traffic controller.

NOTE - For security reasons, the Pentagon has done away with the anonymous mail program and each package you mail MUST have a return address AND it must be addressed to a specific person.
